Add Email to Your Phone

Set up your professional email on iPhone, Android, or any mobile device.

Before You Start

You'll need:

  • Your email address (e.g., [email protected])
  • Your mailbox password (from when you created the mailbox)
  • Don't have your password? Go to Dashboard > Email and click "Reset Password" for your mailbox.

    iPhone / iPad Setup

    • Open Settings* > **Mail** > **Accounts** > *Add Account
    • Tap Other* > *Add Mail Account
    • Enter your information:
    • - Name: Your display name

      - Email: [email protected]

      - Password: Your mailbox password

      - Description: Work Email (or whatever you prefer)

    • Tap Next
    • Select IMAP (not POP)
    • Enter the server settings:

    Incoming Mail Server:

  • Host Name: mail.hostedemail.com
  • User Name: Your full email address
  • Password: Your mailbox password
  • Outgoing Mail Server:

  • Host Name: mail.hostedemail.com
  • User Name: Your full email address
  • Password: Your mailbox password
    • Tap Next* > *Save

    Android Setup (Gmail App)

    • Open the Gmail app
    • Tap your profile picture > Add another account
    • Select Other
    • Enter your email address and tap Next
    • Select Personal (IMAP)
    • Enter your password and tap Next
    • Enter incoming server settings:
    • - Username: Your full email address

      - Password: Your mailbox password

      - Server: mail.hostedemail.com

      - Port: 993

      - Security type: SSL/TLS

    • Tap Next and enter outgoing server settings:
    • - SMTP Server: mail.hostedemail.com

      - Port: 465

      - Security type: SSL/TLS

      - Username: Your full email address

      - Password: Your mailbox password

    • Tap Next and complete the setup

    Android Setup (Samsung Email or Other Apps)

    • Open your email app
    • Tap Add Account* or *+ Add
    • Select Other* or *IMAP
    • Enter your email and password
    • When prompted for server settings, use:

    Incoming (IMAP):

  • Server: mail.hostedemail.com
  • Port: 993
  • Security: SSL/TLS
  • Outgoing (SMTP):

  • Server: mail.hostedemail.com
  • Port: 465
  • Security: SSL/TLS
  • ---

    Troubleshooting

    "Cannot connect to server"

  • Double-check the server is mail.hostedemail.com (not gmail.com)
  • Ensure the port is correct (993 for IMAP, 465 for SMTP)
  • Make sure SSL/TLS is enabled
  • "Authentication failed"

  • Use your full email address as the username
  • Reset your password from Dashboard > Email if needed
  • Make sure there are no extra spaces in your password
  • Emails not sending

  • Check that outgoing server settings match the incoming settings
  • Ensure SMTP port is 465 with SSL/TLS
